Dapoxetine is a drug for the treatment of premature ejaculation in
men. It helps men suffering from sexual health problems regain their
confidence. Dapoxetine is manufactured by Johnson & Johnson under
the brand name Priligy.
Premature ejaculation is a condition in men that causes them to lose
ejaculate very quickly and lose their erection. Men suffering from
this condition are unable to have fulfilling sex or satisfy their
partners. Millions of men across the world suffer from this
embarrassing condition, which causes them to lose their
self-confidence and become depressed and withdrawn.
Priligy hydrochloride (HCL) is the main ingredient in this
medication, which is currently approved for prescription only in
Finland and Sweden. It is under review by European Union and the FDA
for the USA.
Dapoxetine’s formulation was as an antidepressant, but its effects
on premature ejaculation were spotted during trials and so it was
renamed Priligy, a drug for treating sexual health issues in men.

In clinical trials, Priligy HCL showed remarkable effects on men
suffering from premature ejaculation problems. Men taking Dapoxetine
HCL showed significant improvements in sexual function and were
better able to control their ejaculation. Increase was also seen in
IELT (intravaginal ejaculatory latency time) and men as well as
their partners received more satisfaction from sex.
If approved by the FDA and the European Commission, Priligy is
poised to become the first medication for the treatment of premature
ejaculation and could become the next big thing in men’s sexual
health.
