Alternatives of Dapoxetine
Technically speaking, there are no alternatives of dapoxetine currently available in the market. Most medications like Viagra and Cialis are medications for the treatment of erectile dysfunction in men.

Herbal medications such as VigRX Plus and Prosolution Pills are more like aphrodisiacs and penis enlargement pills than a treatment for premature ejaculation. All of these medications focus on improving penile health of men but fail to address their issue of controlling their orgasm.

Few other drugs like Cabergoline and Dostinex, which are dopamine receptors, have also been found to help treat libido issues, but again do not have any benefits for men suffering from premature ejaculation.

Till date, the only drugs specifically formulated for treating libido problems in men include sildenafil and tadalafil, which treat erectile dysfunction and now dapoxetine, which treats premature ejaculation.

The only other treatments for premature ejaculation that have been in use so far have been topical ointments like lidocaine and SS cream. However, these ointments deaden the sensation in both partners and fail to provide them satisfaction as the feeling is gone. Again, these ointments cannot act as alternatives of dapoxetine.

If it is approved by the FDA, dapoxetine will be the first prescription medication for the treatment of premature ejaculation in men. With the results it has shown in clinical trials, it is expected to be prescribed widely to men around the world. With more than 30% of all men suffering from this debilitating condition, dapoxetine could become the next Viagra for them.

Men suffering from PE would no longer have to turn to so called aphrodisiacs and herbal remedies but would have an approved medication on the prescription of a doctor.
